Dubai Culture has designed a series of educational and training activities for children aged 7 to 12 at the Earth’s Treasures in Hatta winter camp in Hatta Heritage Village. The camp runs on weekends from 9 November to 2 December 2024, aiming to raise awareness among future generations about the importance of preserving Hatta’s natural and cultural heritage.

The camp offers children the chance to engage with the natural environment and explore Hatta’s geology and cultural history through interactive activities led by experts. Throughout the camp, children will embark on exciting field adventures to learn about various types of rocky mountains and understand how geological processes shape the terrain. They will also take part in unique educational experiences, discovering the secrets of the Earth and its historical periods through the study of fossils. Additionally, they will participate in specialised workshops on rocks and minerals, allowing them to explore the diversity of mineral and rock formations in the region.
