School of Life: Inspiring Words and Diverse Flavours

Dubai Culture offers innovative workshops to individuals of all ages and backgrounds through its ‘School of Life’ project, which revitalises the spaces of Al Safa Art and Design Library, Hatta Public Library, Umm Suqeim Public Library, Al Mankhool Public Library, and Al Shindagha Historic Neighbourhood with diverse events and sessions aimed at building life skills for all community members. This project helps explore Dubai's unique scene, contributing to a sustainable creative ecosystem that enriches the knowledge of talented individuals, fosters their development, and stimulates public participation in the cultural and artistic sectors.
In March 2024, ‘School of Life’ will present an agenda filled with inspiring educational sessions and interactive workshops offered through the ‘Books,’ ‘Painting’, and ‘Chess’ clubs in both Arabic and English, all under the theme of ‘Words & Flavors’. This provides visitors to Dubai's public libraries with opportunities to develop their creative skills, refine their abilities in the arts, enhance their awareness of farming techniques and healthy meal preparation during the holy month of Ramadan, acquaint themselves with culinary traditions in the UAE and worldwide.
